Our history
Redbud Enterprises, Inc., has a rich history in serving the mining & manufacturing industries since they were founded in 1976 by Buddy Nail and Red Roberts. They started as a synthetic lining, fabrication & machine shop. As the business grew it was decided to solely focus on the synthetic lining products and fabrication side of the business. Redbud continued to be a family run company with Buddy’s wife Pat in the office and his son Steve, both as integral parts of the business. Steve followed in his dad’s footsteps meeting with customers throughout the Eastern United States. Steve carried on the company business for nearly a decade after the passing of his parents.

In January of 2021 Steve added Stephen “Snuffy” Smith to the Redbud team as the Sales Manager. With the 10 years of industry experience Snuffy brought to the table, it wasn’t long before he became the General Manager and oversaw all aspects of the day to day operations.
Seeing the capable hands that Redbud Enterprises, Inc. was in, Steve Nail felt confident knowing his family’s legacy could continue on for many years to come. In 2023, after his many years of long hours of labor, Steve decided it was time for him to enjoy the fruits of his efforts & it was time to retire and sell Redbud Enterprises, Inc. to Snuffy. Snuffy is excited to continue on the tradition of the highest quality of products and service to our loyal and new customers.
